Documents and editor

The editor is block-based: each paragraph, heading, list, table, or embed is an independently manageable piece of your document.

Write with blocks

Type directly into a page and press Enter to make the next block. Use / to search the insert menu for headings, lists, tables, page links, and inline databases.

  1. 1.Type / in an empty or active block.
  2. 2.Search for the block or command you need.
  3. 3.Press Enter to insert it, then continue writing.

Format and structure

Select text for bold, italic, underline, strikethrough, inline code, colour, and links. The editor also recognizes common inline Markdown as you type.

  1. 1.Use **bold**, *italic*, `code`, or ~~strike~~ while typing.
  2. 2.Use Tab and Shift+Tab to indent or outdent supported list blocks.
  3. 3.Use the block handle or context menu to manage a complete block.

Find and protect your work

Use Cmd/Ctrl+F for document find and replace, and Cmd/Ctrl+Z or Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+Z for undo and redo. Copy, cut, and paste preserve the supported structure inside NoteKub.
